This series of paintings are inspired by stepping back and taking time to wonder instead of surfing the fast waves of  facts and fakes.  Our sense of immanence starts with our spiritual response to the wonder of our being alive and the wonder of the fecundity of the natural world.

 

In the exhibition The Immanence of Wonder the viewer is invited to take time to wonder.  It will fulfil its ultimate purpose if it connects oneself within the depths of one’s inner being and to make a bridge to one’s deepest self. That is, to serve not our outer-focused, materialistic, demanding  ego, but that inner, higher centre of spirituality.
